Homeschool Nature Day
WHEN: May 28, 2025 9:00am - 12:00pm
WHERE: Laurelville Retreat Center | 941 Laurelville Ln, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666
THINGS TO KNOW:
• Ages 5 - 15
• Meet at the pavilion by the pool.
• Parents should accompany kids throughout the day.
• Lunch afterward in the Cafeteria.
*Cafeteria buffet lunch free for the first 30 kids registered! Others may leave after the program, bring a picnic lunch, or purchase lunch from the cafeteria
Hands on activities covering:
• Plant and Animal ID
• Stream Science
• Conservation Efforts
• Sustainable Living, Foraging, Basic Survival Skills
• Native American Land Use and Artifacts
• Students Should be Prepared to do Some Light Hiking and Exploring.
• Some Activities will Occur Near the Stream, so Bring a Change of Clothes Just in Case ;)
